  1. The <address> tag defines the contact information for the author or owner of a document. This way, the reader is able to contact the document's owner. 
  2. The address element is usually added to the header or footer of a webpage. 
  3. In most browsers the address would be rendered in italic type. Most browsers will also add a line break before and after the address element.
  4. The <address> is supported in all major browsers.
